With the SLC load cells, DIGI SENS offers a fully digital, single-point vibrating wire load cell made of high-quality tool steel for nominal loads from 1,500 to 7,500 kg.
The SLC series was designed for use in harsh environments: completely hermetically sealed, insensitive to shocks and with a design that reliably filters out torsional forces when eccentric forces are applied. The result is a system with very little change in measuring travel (< 0.1 mm) and outstanding measuring precision.
Another practical advantage is that the calibration data is stored in the load cell’s electronics. This means that no readjustment is necessary when commissioning or replacing a load cell. An integrated temperature measurement also ensures active temperature compensation.
The SLC load cells are suitable for the calibrated measurement of loads, weights and forces in industrial weighing and process applications. Typical applications include platform and hopper scales, mixers, conveyor/conveyor scales as well as tipping weighing systems in vehicles and robot arm scales.
